Enabling children to flourish and succeed

Lunchtime

At Viscount Beaumont’s Primary School, we provide nutritious school meals for all pupils. Please let the school office know if your child requires school meals.

Free School Meals for Reception, Year 1 & Year 2

Children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 are entitled to free school meals.

School Meals for Year 3 and Above

For children in Year 3 and above, school meals cost £2.95 per day, unless your child is eligible for free school meals. We kindly ask that all meals are paid for in advance, whether weekly, monthly, or termly. Payments are made easily via the Arbour app.

Choosing Your Child’s Meals

Families can choose whether their child has a packed lunch, hot school dinner, or a combination throughout the term. If you need to update your child’s meal choices, please inform the school office.

Special Diets

Weekly Menu

The Zone

Our playground is divided into several activity Zones, each offering a range of play opportunities. Twice a week, special activities take place in each zone, designed to appeal to different styles of play and interests.

Pupils take an active role in choosing activities and making sure the rules are clear and respected. Teachers are present to support and supervise, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the Zone safely. Our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils also help us ensure that lunchtimes are fun, safe, and engaging for everyone.

Everyone is welcome in the Zone!

Rules for the Zone

  • Use equipment within the Zone only – it cannot be taken outside.

  • Everyone can join in – when another pupil asks if they can play, respond with: “Of course you can!”

Rewards

Every lunchtime, pupils can earn house tokens by demonstrating our school values. Tokens contribute to the house total, which leads to house rewards and recognition across the school.
