Enabling children to flourish and succeed

Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is a government grant introduced in April 2011 to provide additional support to schools and help improve outcomes for children who may face educational or social disadvantages.

Funding is allocated for each child who:

  • Is entitled to Free School Meals (FSM), or has been eligible within the last 6 years

  • Has parents who are currently serving in the armed forces

  • Is in the care of the Local Authority, or has been adopted from care

The funding is used to support additional learning, pastoral care, and enrichment opportunities to ensure every child can reach their full potential.

For more detailed information on Pupil Premium and eligibility, please visit the Leicestershire County Council Pupil Premium page by clicking here.

If you need any support or have questions about how Pupil Premium can benefit your child, please contact the school office.
