Health, Wellbeing, and Medical Information
At Viscount Beaumont’s CE Primary School, the health, safety, and wellbeing of our pupils are a top priority. We work closely with families and health professionals to ensure children receive the care and support they need.
School Nurse and Health Support
We recommend visiting Health for Kids, a trusted resource offering information and support for both physical and mental health. The website includes details on how to contact the School Nurse and provides guidance for parents and carers.
There is also a child-friendly version of the website, designed especially for children to explore health topics in an age-appropriate way.
NHS Health Advice
For advice on common childhood illnesses, symptoms, and treatments, please visit the NHS website, which provides reliable and up-to-date medical information for families.
Medication in School
If your child needs to take medication during the school day, please ensure you have read our Medication Procedures, available on the School Policies page.
A medication consent form must be completed before any medicine can be administered at school.
Medical Information and Special Diets
It is essential that all medical information is kept up to date. Please inform the school if your child is diagnosed with a medical condition, such as asthma, so that we can provide appropriate support.
If your child requires a special diet, further information is available on our Lunchtime page, including how to contact Leicestershire Food Services.
